The Murdoch Family
Rupert Murdoch is the chairman and CEO of Fox News. He is also the chairman and CEO of the Fox Corporation. Murdoch is the son of Keith Rupert Murdoch and Dame Elisabeth Murdoch. He is the father of Lachlan Murdoch, James Murdoch, and Elizabeth Murdoch. The Murdoch family has a controlling interest in Fox News.
Rupert Murdoch is the founder and executive chairman of Fox News. He is also the CEO of 21st Century Fox, which is the parent company of Fox News. Murdoch is a conservative media mogul and has been a powerful force in right-wing politics for decades. He has used his media empire to promote right-wing causes and candidates, and has been accused of using his outlets to further his own political agenda.
Lachlan Murdoch is the eldest son of Rupert Murdoch, and he currently serves as the co-chairman and CEO of 21st Century Fox. He also has a seat on the board of News Corp. Prior to his current role, Lachlan was the executive chairman of News Corp and 21st Century Fox.
Lachlan began his career working for his father’s company in Australia, before moving to the United States in 1995. He held various roles at Fox News Channel and Sky TV before being named the chairman and CEO of News Corp in 2005. In 2013, he became co-chairman of 21st Century Fox with his father.
Lachlan is a trustee of the Science Museum Group in London and a member of the National Advisory Council of The Nature Conservancy. He also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including Wildlife Conservation Society, where he is vice chairman, and The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans.
James Murdoch is the son of Rupert Murdoch and Wendi Deng, and he is currently the co-chairman and CEO of 21st Century Fox. He also serves on the board of News Corp. In March 2018, Murdoch resigned from the board of directors of Sky plc, the British satellite broadcaster that is 39% owned by 21st Century Fox. He cites disagreements over strategy with his father and other members of the board as his reason for leaving.

Roger Ailes is the former Chairman and CEO of Fox News and the Fox Television Stations Group. He resigned from Fox News on July 21, 2016, following allegations of sexual harassment.
Bill O’Reilly is a former American television host, political commentator, and author. He hosted The O’Reilly Factor on Fox News from 1996 to 2017. The O’Reilly Factor was the highest-rated cable news show for 16 years and he was briefly the network’s most watched personality. As of September 2017, he is no longer employed by Fox News.
As of 2018, Sean Hannity is the most popular personality on Fox News, and is one of the most-watched hosts in all of cable news. Hannity has been with Fox News since its inception in 1996, and currently hosts The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk radio show. He also previously hosted a self-titled television show on Fox News from 2009 to 2013.

Megyn Kelly is a former Fox News anchor and current NBC News anchor. She joined Fox News in 2004 and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the network’s most popular personalities. In 2017, she left Fox News to join NBC News.
Kelly is a graduate of Syracuse University’s law school. After working as a lawyer for several years, she decided to pursue a career in journalism. She began her career as a local news reporter in Washington, D.C., before joining Fox News in 2004.
At Fox News, Kelly quickly established herself as a talented and popular journalist. She hosted her own show, “The Kelly File,” which was one of the network’s most highly-rated programs. In 2017, she left Fox News to join NBC News.
Kelly has been praised for her hard-hitting journalistic style. She has also been criticized for some of her controversial comments about race and ethnicity.
Greta Van Susteren
Greta Van Susteren is a Fox News contributor and one of the most popular figures in cable news. She is known for her hard-hitting interviews and no-nonsense approach to the news.
Bret Baier is the host of Special Report with Bret Baier on the Fox News Channel and the Chief Political Anchor for Fox. He is based out of Washington, D.C.
Baier began his career with Fox in 2006 as the network’s Jerusalem-based correspondent. He has been a lead reporter on major stories including the death of Pope John Paul II, the War in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, and the Virginia Tech shooting massacre. He also reported extensively on then-Senator Barack Obama’s first overseas trip as President in 2009.
In 2010, Baier was appointed Fox News’ Chief White House Correspondent, covering President Obama and his administration for two years. In December 2011, he was named co-anchor of Special Report, taking over from Brit Hume who retired earlier that year.
Fox News is owned by 21st Century Fox, which is itself controlled by the Murdoch family. Rupert Murdoch, founder and Executive Chairman of 21st Century Fox, serves as the network’s chairman, while his son Lachlan Murdoch is co-chairman and CEO. The company’s other executives include Rupert Murdoch’s son James Murdoch, as well as CEOs Suzanne Scott and Jay Wallace.
